ENTRIES

Pre entries on-line ashwoodequestrian.com £20 per class. No booking fee. No medic fee. Advanced medical responder on-site. 50% Discount for Ashwood Members (see website for details)

Entries will remain open after this time at extra fee. Entries on the day if time allows. Entries may be capped in each class. Individual times will be given 2 days prior to the show ashwoodequestrian.com/times

Classes with less than 6 entries will be cancelled & refunded. Junior/Senior sections will be amalgamated if less than six starters per section. Juniors riding horses will jump in the Senior section.

CLASSES MAY RUN SINGLE PHASE OR TWO PHASE. Run under BS Rules 2024 with the exception of 3 refusals for elimination.

ELIMINATIONS

Competitors incurring 3 refusals will be eliminated. You may be allowed to continue at the judges discretion.

Fall of horse or rider will incur immediate elimination and you will not be allowed to continue. You will be required to see the on-site medic.

WITHDRAWALS, REFUNDS, UNPAID ENTRIES & SUBSTITUTIONS

ALL PRE-ENTRIES PAID BEFORE CLOSING DATE WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR 100% REFUND OR TRANSFER WHAT EVER THE REASON prior to times being released.

No withdrawals on the day of the show.

UNPAID/ON HOLD ENTRIES WILL DELETED and you will need to re-enter on the day at LATE ENTRY FEE

Substituting either a horse or rider may be possible. Changing both horse & rider in the same entry qualifies as a whole new entry & must be paid in full.

5 fences on the course. When a rider jumps the course clear they choose one fence to be raised one hole (5cms) If a fence is knocked down or the horse incurs a refusal the rider will be out of the competition. Run over maximum of 5 rounds, all riders on equal faults after the 4th round will jump the final round against the clock. Fastest time with fewest faults is the winner.

Upto 2 rounds. All clears in the first round go forwards to a second jump off round over a shorter course against the clock, upto 10 cms higher.

DRESS CODE

Correct show dress please, with the exception of Show Jackets during inclement weather. No yard boots. Hard hats conforming to the current British Standard must be worn at all times when mounted. Plaiting is optional. NO SCHOOLING WHIPS.

QUALIFICATIONS

ASHWOOD TT

(Treasure Trove)

This show is a qualifier for Ashwood TT. An exciting NEW Winter Championship show to be held on 5th & 6th April 2025. The Top 3 or double clear in classes 1-3 & 5-8 will qualify.

TERMS & CONDITIONS Save for death or injury by the negligence of the organiser or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, Ashwood Equestrian Ltd, for themselves, their servants, agents, employees and all those connected with the event do not accept liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury, illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, vehicles, their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or statutory duty in any way whatsoever of themselves, their servants, agents, employees and all those connected with the event or otherwise. It shall be considered a condition of entry that each entrant agrees to indemnify the organisers against any legal action arising thereto. The organiser does not insure the rider, your horse or your tack and equipment. You are strongly advised to have in place your own adequate personal accident insurance at all times.

The decision of the Judges is final. If any person wishes to lodge a complaint, this must be done so in writing within 30 minutes of the incident along with a deposit of £50 (which will be returned if the complaint is upheld). 

The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry and to remove anyone from the venue at any time without giving a reason, amend the details of the schedule should it become necessary, or to cancel any class with insufficient entries.

GENERAL RULES

  1. All classes are open to juniors or seniors riding horses or ponies.
  2. Horses/Ponies must be 4 years old or older.
  3. Any horse/pony considered to be unsound, unfit or unhealthy by a Judge or the Organiser will be excluded from the competition without refund of entry.
  4. No horseboxes to be mucked out on site.
  5. It is compulsory that every person at the venue who is under the age of 18 years of age is accompanied by a responsible adult.
  6. No dogs will be allowed in or around any of the arenas or on the cross country course, they must stay in the lorry park or preferably remain at home. Please clean up after you dogs AND TAKE YOUR POO BAGS HOME.
  7. The event may be cancelled without notice due to adverse weather. In the event of adverse weather it is recommended that you check the website www.ashwoodequestrian.com for any announcements. In the unlikely event of abandonment, entries may be carried over to a future event or refunded minus £5 admin fee.
